Reimagining Contract Review with AI

If reading a design case study feels like a chore, imagine how lawyers feel. They have to read every line of hundreds of documents daily, ensuring they don’t miss any important details.

This case study explores the end-to-end redesign of a key feature, optimizing how lawyers review contract documents—making the process faster, more intuitive, and AI-assisted.

AI Studio: Helping  Lawyers Train AI.

AI's effectiveness depends on the quality of its training data.

I designed a specialized tool for legal professionals that structures complex legal data, minimizes errors, and reduces repetitive task fatigue.

With seamless feedback loops and user-centric design, it ensures accuracy and efficiency, empowering legal teams to train AI confidently in high-stakes environments.

PROJECT 3

Ask AI Conversational Page
Loading...

Lawyers often struggle with navigating vast contract data using traditional search and filter methods. The challenge was to simplify access to critical legal insights using an intuitive, AI-powered conversational UI.

“Ask AI” is an innovative conversational interface integrated into the CLM platform. It enables legal professionals to ask natural language queries about their contract repository, cutting through traditional complexity to retrieve precise information quickly.

PROJECT 4

Final Header Design

Lawyers frequently review documents that are strikingly similar, often repeating the same tedious tasks.

I identified a key opportunity to boost efficiency by streamlining the review process when multiple documents are alike.

By designing a solution that intelligently recognizes and highlights similarities, I’ve reduced redundant work, allowing lawyers to focus on critical differences and make faster, more informed decisions.

Design Effort

As a designer, I focus on understanding the deeper behaviors and routines of users, diving into how they think and make decisions.

My goal is to design experiences that feel completely natural—where every step is clear and intuitive, making the interface almost disappear. I don’t just create products; I create journeys that guide users effortlessly, turning complex tasks into smooth, easy-to-follow experiences.

Collaboration

To ensure that our features are delivered with a high level of polish, I collaborate closely with various disciplines, I led multiple design exploration sessions.

The team, composed of the product manager, front-end developers, UX researchers, and Legal experts, collectively planned, prototyped, and implemented the roadmap.
